Prescription 2000, Inc. was founded in 2000 and had its previous incarnations starting in 1989 as ITServices (Information Transfer Services) and then Clinical Pearls Publications, Inc. These previous companies, as does Prescription 2000, Inc., delivered credible nutrition research into the hands of health professionals and to the public. Much of the health information produced by these two companies is now available at no charge at www.vitasearch.com (Clinical Pearls Database, Expert Interviews, Weekly Updates). Presently, Kirk Hamilton President and founder of Prescription 2000, Inc. still conducts the weekly Expert Interviews found on www.vitasearch.com site.
Prescription 2000, Inc. added a dietary supplement line of animal-free products in 2000 as an addition to its health education/promotion philosophy.
Prescription 2000 Inc. starting in 2008 has added to its commitment to health promotion more health education products in the form of books, CDs, educational seminars, teleseminars, health coaching and free downloadable PDF self-help handouts, Expert Pearls (health protocols) and Rx 2000 One Liners newsletter (one line reviews of nutrition research), a free E-newsletters and audio Rx2000 Expert Interviews among its current services. Our goal is to be more interactive with the public with practical self-help information from current nutrition and prevention research.
