Rheumatoid Arthritis - fish oil - 44613 Fish oil - 2 ml/kg (= 0.1 – 0.2 g fish oil/kg) fish oil emulsion (Omegaven®) intravenously over 4 hours on 7 consecutive days in addition to background therapy (100 ml of this preparation contained 6.56 g of n3-PUFA, comprising 2.82g, EPA (20:5), 3.09g DHA (22:6), 0.20g linolenic acid (18:3), and 0.45g docosapentaenoic acid (22:5))led to improvement of the disease activity status without side effects.
