




The glucosamine for these capsules is dervied from starch that is extracted from corn is broken down into glucose and fermented utilizing a fungus which provides the raw materials that are made into glucosmaine HCL through a patent pending technology. No animal products were used as starting materials or added into the processing. Periodic testing of glucosamine HCL samples by PCR technology has shown no evidence of detectable corn DNA. A university allergy program reviewed the medical literature and databases for reports of allergic reactions to glucosamine and/or the ingredients used to produce this product. The reviewers only found reports noting allergic reactions to glucosamine produced from shellfish waste.
Pure glucosamine HCL is approximately 83% glucosamine while glucosamine sulfate is approximately 65% glucosamine. It is not believed that the counter anion (i.e. chloride or sulfate) plays a significant role in the action or pharmacokinetics of glucosamine.
SUGGESTED USE: One to 3 capsules taken daily with meals. Keep tightly closed in a dry place. Do not expose to heat. Keep out of reach of children.
